Is Wales racially mixed?

In some areas, mostly the south it has been racially mixed for centuries as people came seeking work. I know families whose ancestors originate from Belgium and Sweden but they are now completely Welsh, accent and all. All children have to learn Welsh in primary schools these days regardless of where they originate from so the Welsh are very keen to maintain their heritage.

In the larger cities, yes (I wouldn't count St Asaph or St Davids! :) ), not nearly so much in the smaller towns and countryside - I was 10 before I saw my first non-white person in the flesh, though that was over 40 years ago... Back then, English people were quite a novelty.

We have a pretty good mix in the cities like Cardiff, Swansea and Newport, but the smaller towns and villages, and much of the rural areas are much less diverse.

Yes in major cities like Cardiff, Swansea and Newport.

Hardly

In urban areas, yes.

Cardiff is.
