Would I be able to buy nice things?
Franky, you need to do the math. How many hours of work per week is that for? Is that for 40 hours a week? . Okay- average number of work days in a month -21.7 Then hours in a workday - 8 multiply by 5 to get 40 hours per week. It comes out to about 11.5 pounds per hour . Minimum living wage in London is 9.15 pounds , so it is decent money.
However you can only do part time going to school, and what your parents agree you can do in the summer. I doubt they will let you work 40 hours a week. Also, how old do you have to be to do the job. .
its a good salary if you spend less than that but if you have expensive rent , bills and a car note you can spend that much pretty easily . in a city like London you might spend two thirds of that just for your rent and utilities
its a good starting salary to build on but you won't be living large on it , I used to make over 40 thousand a year and was always broke because its expensive to live in a big city , pay rent and bills , buy food , pay for a car and insurance etc.
No,its not great,but its OK.
It is below average.
It works out about £460 per week, you will pay about £100 in tax and NIC,which will leave you about £360.
I have 18 year olds, who get more than that
It would depend on where you live as cost of living varies per location.
What job is this? You might want to compare it with the usual salary. See http://bitly.com/1cexvFR for the UK.
Enough for the basics needs, in a big city such as London - nothing more. In a more rural or northern location, it will be a bit better.

Bit above national average but with rent or mortgage to pay NOT much...
You do the math, what do I look like a human calculator?
Scam - I assume "they" will arrange your visa for a fee.
