In Spain we also lead normal lives like yours, we are in Europe. We get up in the morning, have breakfast, go to work, have lunch, go back home, go to the gym, to the cinema, etc, have dinner, go to bed, so I don't know why you think your life in Spain would be more exciting than in Canada.
But of course, if you go to Spain and have a relationship with someone, you are allowed to marry that person. In Spain even gay-marriage is legal.

I was born in raised in Philadelphia, PA(U.S.), but I feel like my home is Amman, Jordan in the Middle East. I have visited three times for vacation and I never wanted to leave. My family is not even from Jordan.
The other person who answered said people don't marry in Spain. That is somewhat true. In Spanish culture, many woman have children outside of marriage and just never get married. Many have been girlfriend/boyfriend for most of their lives, but never decide to get married. Even the famous singer Enrique Eglesias has had his gf for 11 years and he did not propose to her because he said he does not believe in marriage.

I love Spain, and I feel like my life isn't as exciting as it could be in Spain (I don't know how to explain it, I have like a pain, i'm always melancholic). I have a normal life here in Canada, I study sciences to be engineer, I speak english and french, I have a good family and friends so what is wrong with me? I'm only 18 years old. I've been raised in american culture so I also feel like my home is here in America.
