This is all just talk, so those who has been to the UK - what is it like?
England is a lovely place to visit. Most people head for London. My Canadian cousins spent two weeks in London and loved every minute of it. They are coming back for more!
However, there is more to England than London. There is beautiful countryside and historic towns to see.
It's not as wet as Hollywood likes to show. London has less rain than Rome. However, it's unpredictable. You can never be certain about the weather more than a few days in advance.
The people are more reserved than some nationalities. However, they are friendly and not snooty.
London is a very nice place. I have been there twice and it was really nice. The first time was a whole week. It was great. And London is very nice to visit in bus. You have the view of all. But Cambridge is very good too.
And there is a canal with little boats and a man drive you. It's really nice and very beautiful. I think it was in Cambridge. This makes me think of Venice.
People are very nice. They help you when they can, if you doesn't find your way. They are very welcoming. It's a very nice country.
Its good, i went to london the other day and its just so interesting, seeing the royal guards, police on horses etc. the people who walk around the streets of london are mostly tourists, with a few men in smart suits walking around. Its an exciting place to be an everyone is friendly :)
I am Greek and I have been 3 times in London, it's beautiful city with lots of things to do and see, the people are polite :)
If mean ENGLAND why say UK, of which it is ONE part???..Is a good one to visit....NOT snooty unlike the dik some were stupid enough to VOTE into Number 10 last night....
Dear oh dear. We all pay our TV licence fees to make you wonderful BBC costume dramas showing the everyday life of people taking their unmarried daughters to Bath and riding horses around the Cornish cliffs and you don't seem to take any of it in.

It sucks believe me, people that say its good are people that come from a poor country and its good for them here .BUT as some one like me, who lived in canada for most of my life . It sucks!!! very dirty, depressing lots of thugs and crime, alcoholics, racist polish people and the list goes on its not a very nice place.
