(For example teaching in international schools).
Youll never Work in Spain, There is no Work here, The society is kinda lazy.
Stores open late in the morning , close mid day then open for a while again and then close Early Night.
Most my spanish friends, who are youth like myself within the range of 25 years, Are unemployed, & the 1 spanish Friend I do have that does work cant quit his day Job because if He does, God forbid, There is Nothing else Out there for job offers.
Not even they work, So how can you expect a Foreighner to find a job which would be 4 times harder!
& the foreighners that Do work are getting taken advantage of & being payed 3 euros an Hour.
Its pointless to come to spain and study if you are looking for a Job opportunities in the future here. There is None, There is not much opportunity here.
I live here, I see it, I feel it, I watch the Protests, It doesnt feel very bright .
Spain is Beautiful in that Old kinda European way, but its Boring as Fuk, and there is No Jobs or business.
Im Here because I love my Partner, Its hard to let go, but I might just Have to let go of the person I love because I cant Find a future here or a Job. It hurts, but its the sad Fact.
I have a relative who came to Malaga to get a job and learn Spanish. He has no qualifications. He has found a job which proves other answers are incorrect!
Hi,
I love your idea, because like this you get to know a great country and an interesting language. Try maybe to contact directly with private hotels (casas rurales for instance).
You could also try to be an au-pair through this website for instance: http://www.aupair-world.es/
Good luck!!!
Check out the 2 sites below.
may be hard to work but to live for several months you can find some cheap apartments on a website called fotocasa.es hope this helps
i am sorry to tell you have to know that spain it has a lot of problem with employements you won't find it bad but it is the reason but you have one option that you can teach english but you have to know spanish you are impatient but take it easy and wait !=)
I want to live in Spain for several months mainly to learn the language. However, I don't know where to begin looking.
I know it would be hard to actually get a job as their unemployment is massive, but I would like to do something where you do a few hours work and they provide you with a bed for the night, or I've seen things where you go live with a family and teach them English a few hours a week in return for a bed and food etc....and then I'd just live off of whatever savings I take out with me.
This is all pretty vague, but was wondering if anyone else has done anything similar or has any ideas?
