The question reminds me of a song I like, it goes...
"England seemed like a beautiful place from afar,
Until one day I saw how miserable things really are.."
Not trying to make a jab at your country but what I am getting at is that things seem wonderful when you are visiting a country or spend a short time there, however if you ask anyone about the country they live in they would more and likely have the same attitude as you do.
I am fascinated by Romania, I decided to visit there this last summer since I have a few friends from there, and it really caught me off guard, I was expecting a decent time at best but it was the most fun I had in a while. I also been to England, Italy, Germany, Morocco, and France, but Romania tops it for me. Fun at the beaches, at the clubs, on the mountains, the roads, its like a really awesome hidden treasure of the world I found. I am even considering trying to become some Canadian embassy worker there. However my friends in Romania think I am a little insane thinking that lol.
Wherever you live you will still have to work, pay bills, commute etc, and that leaves little time to "do" anything. You will be doing the same things you do in the UK. An added difficulty will be finding a job, especially if you do not speak the language of the country you move to.
Wherever you go you take your problems with you. And, if you are bored now you will be bored anywhere in the world, because boredom comes from within!
Maybe Spain, Italy or Greece.
Monaco!
