Lisbon is lovely, you can reach the beaches at Caiscais and Estoril very easily from the city centre in a few minutes by the local train.

Never been to Mallorca so I can't compare.

Alcudia in Majorca is a great family resort and fantastic beaches, Good Luck

Majorca. Lisbon is near the Atlantic Ocean which is not as warm as the Med. Lisbon is not a sea side resort. You would need to go down the coast.

I am planning to visit a warm place in Septermber (after the 10th for 4-5 days).

I wanna go somewhere where I will be able to swim, and that has nice beaches (in europe). I was thininking of Lisbon (although I don't know about it's beaches) or Majorca. I don't really want to go to a party place.

If you suggest any other place please do let me know.
