I moved to NI for work (from Birmingham) in November 2010 so been here just over 4 years. I've never really got used to it and it still seems so sleepy and miserable to me. What's your secret people, how do you keep yourselves entertained. I have been looking for working in England so hopefully will move back in the near future.

Depends on where in NI you are living ........ so look for a new job and one that offers at least 50% more than you earn now in salary as you will need it moving back to the Midlands

Two of my properties, one about 30 mins south of Birmingham a 3 bed semi and one in NI a 4 bed, 4 reception room detached with 6 acres of land...... the Midlands CT and water rates cost more than the total costs of my NI property

Get out of Belfast and explore N.I.'s magnificent and beautiful landscape such as the Giant's Causeway and the Mountains of Mourne

It must be you Northern Ireland is a great place

It is miserable, its not just you. I can't really suggest that much to keep you entertained, on good days you can go to Portrush.

GO HOME then..I KNOW NI well and it is what YOU make of it...
