I was Born in London and Forced out By the 1958 Race Riots and i still believe London is Racist so Going from London UK to the USA was Going from the Fire to the Furnace
I chose Australia Far less Racists
U.K. Pros: History
Cultural activities not just in London with its wealth of museums, art galleries and music venues
Beautiful countryside
Excellent public transport including a dense frequent national rail network
More moderate patriotism and les bigotry than in the U.S. and less religion
Few climatic extremes
The BBC
U.K. Cons:-
Health care is inconsistent in quality
Corrupt and dishonest politicians
Materialism
Low educational standards in the state run school system
I live in Britain and apart from the beauty of the natural landscape I am not keen on the U.S.A. for all the reasons I have outlined in the U.K. pros and also I don't fly or drive and I can still travel easily to virtually any part of the U.K. or Europe
There actually places in America where it rarely rains, get hot, palm trees, (yeah I know they got a few in South UK, warm beautiful water. I hear less crime.
Cons - you can't move from one to the other (unless you hold dual citizenship) without significant visa requirements.
You won't have cameras on every street, filming your every move. At least not yet. There are a lot of guns, though. Lots of open space.
