London hyde park?

Hello, what train station is closest to Hyde park? And what time does the last train stop running?

I live in oakham, uk about 2 hours from

London, if anyone could give a route and help that would be amazing, or from the train station in peterbrough to london, thank you

Hyde Park is relatively big and you need to specify where yopu want to go on it, However, the nearest stations are:

Marble Arch

Lancaster Gate

Queensway

High Streeet Kensington

Knightsbridge

and

Hyde Park Corner.

Trains don't stop running on the Undeground until about Midnight (depending on day, Sunday is usually slightly earlier). The last train from St Pancras to Oakham (changing once) is at 21:46. It might be different at weekends though. Use http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/pl... to check train times and fares. If you're returning to Oakham on the same day you can buy your train ticket as a travelcard (for just a little extra) and therefore won't be forced to buy separate tickets for public transport in London.

If you're coming from Oakham, I think you arrive at St Pancras and the easiest Underground Jouney (wiithout having to change trains or have a ridiculously long Journey) is take the Piccadilly Line Southbound (most trains will terminate at Heathrow) from Kings Cross St Pancras Underground Station and get off at either Hyde Park Corner or Knightsbridge.

From Oakham catch a train to London Kings Cross (Change at Peterborough - Through fares available).

From Kings Cross catch the Underground Piccadilly Line to Hyde Park Corner Station. It is a large park. Depending on which part of it you want to reach there are also Underground stations at Marble Arch, Knightsbridge, Queensway, Bayswater etc all adjacent to the park.

For the cheapest rail fares try and book well in advance for specifically timed trains either at a station ticket office or at www.nationalrail.co.uk

A railcard will give you a further 34% discount www.railcard.co.uk
