Majorca and Mallorca are the same place - the biggest island in the Balearic group. For most of us, the pronunciation is the same (Mah-york-ah). On our website, we mainly call it Mallorca (the Catalan spelling) because Catalan is the primary language on the island, and it's used on all the maps and road signs, and so on. Hope that's cleared that one up!
For this and all the other stuff you'd like to know, take a look at http://www.mydestination.com/mallorca.
And have a brilliant holiday!

Mallorca is the Spanish spelling. the ll in Spanish often sounds like a J in English, so English speakers spell it Majorca, so when said, it sounds close to the same.
Majorca is English for Mallorca.
Latinised 'Major' being the biggest of the islands.
