Malaga is place more ideal for summer vacation... it's Costa Del Sol is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world....
While San sebastián the capital of one of the seven major islands in the Canaries archipelago is an relexing city... an unspoilt volcanic paradise, where every season is springtime.
The second largest city of Spain....the capital of the Autonomous region of Catalonia.... the city is always reinventing itself. Fine food, fashion, opera, nightlife, street theatre, art .... Barcelona is all of this and more, a city that holds suprises for every visitors...
Totally different. Malaga isn't a dump, but it is a working city. When most people talk about Malaga, they are referring to Malaga province which is quite stunning in places. San Sebastien has a feel of a different country. In Malaga they have little rain most years whereas San Sebastiian can get too much rain at certain times.
Iwill be in northern Spain this week and the forecast is rain, then I'll be in Malaga two days later with perfect sunshine.
No Guiri, simply made a mention to your description that Malaga was a dump, which it certainly isn't.
The city of Malaga is , what is called in English, 'a bit of a dump'. A provincial capital.
San Sebastian and Barcelona are tourist destinations and are very different.
I have never been to San Sebastian after a very scary incident ( a long time ago) in Eibar and avoid the Basque country.
Tourist Barcelona is over-run by uncontrolled petty thieves.
p.s. Rocket. are you suggesting that San Sebastian and Barcelona are not "working cities"?
I would probably choose San Sebastian. I hear that it is really nice but Barcelona is the big tourist destination. It depends what you like to do.
Completely depends on what sort of vacation you want to take, and how long you have.
Personally, I love the idea of San Sebastian...maybe, because I still have to explore there.
But it really depends what YOU want to do.
I will be going to spain next year and i want to know what is a better vacation destination Malaga, San Sebastian and or Barcelona
