Russian multi-ethnic country. Meet on the street because the person is not of Slavic appearance - a common occurrence. Of course there are radical nationalists. However, they are not much. In recent years, fewer and fewer. It is worth saying that the Japanese culture is very popular in Russia. Now joke - "even the Japanese do not eat as much sushi as eating Russian." The popularity of sushi is incredible. Also, people love Japanese cartoons, manga, hentai :)
No, I do not think that you will have what you problemmy on a national basis.
I am sure your husband would never take you to a place where you were in real danger.
My DIL is Japanese, my son American but a dual citizen of the US and Hungary.
I would have no problem having my DIL visit me here in HU. Of course she is a newcomer to the west and only because of that I would never let her go anywhere alone here in HU.
She is shy and will not speak up for herself if needed.
Russia, Hungary and other eastern European countries do require one to be assertive at times.
If the business is that good, then perhaps you will never have to take public transportation or walk alone in Russia.
It is never a good idea for any women to be alone in a big city, no matter her race.
My advice is to visit before deciding to stay.

Ok, if "seriously" then you should worry about other country, that desperately wants a war with RF and seems to make all kinds of preparations for it. Here is a hint: it's not located on Eurasian continent.
If SERIOUSLY, then you've picked wrong ethnicity... I wouldn't think of trolling if you at least picked some of the Central Asian ethnic groups (some members of which are known for ethnic banditism, russophobia, anti-white racism and stuff, but of course for "counter-defence" purposes would accuse their victims of being aggressors - an ancient and very primitive technique).
Russia is huge...and the differences between urban guys and villagers, small town people and city people are huge too... def.visit first than decide...it could be easily that not any crumb of racism will get you but the weather...or the food...or something...

I've seen several documentaries about racism in Russia, one of those documentaries was filmed in Moscow, let me tell you about it. There are several groups in Moscow whose hobbie is to hunt foreigners, when they find one, they spank him, take his documents and burn them. In one of the videos they posted online we could see an Asian men beeing spanked in the middle of the street by around 10 guys, after that they took his passport and burned it.
Now if you are going with your husband he should know what the risks are and protect you from those kind of situations, I don't like to judge people over their nationality but Russians are famous for their racist and homophobic behavior.
