Moving to spain. Question about using online pharmacies?

There are strict guide lines where meds are concerned and you will fine that when you live here and try to order,it will say, not available in your area .But you can get most medication over the counter at the pharmacies. So it shouldn't be a problem, plus it is usually cheaper .

You can however bring a small amount with you, then take the boxes to the pharmacy and they will give you the same or the equivalent.

Hope you enjoy your life here,do you both have jobs..

Edit

To the poster that said they don't use the pharmacy, well we know that ,,but the question was posted in English so the answer should be English .

I don't know anyone who uses online pharmacies in Spain. Since the main manufacturerers are huge multinationals companies, you'll find the same medications in your pharmacy around the corner, so just keep on buying the same stuff here, where they'll always be available, unless you're coming from a non-EU country, in which case, if that med is forbidden here, I don't think you can import it legally.

With social security, a "Farmacia" on every street, people in Spain do not use on line pharmacies.

The best thing to do would be to develop a relationship with a family practice physician and a good local pharmacy when you get settled at your destination.

With a Farmacia" every .5 of a mile I don't know how they make a living but they do

You will be able to get what ever you need

Myself and my boyfriend will be moving to

Spain in a few months. We normally order

some meds online, from an online pharmacy-

his propecia and my contraceptive pill. I read

that you need an import license to have any

medication sent to spain. Is this true even for small amounts? Or just for large quantities?
