Aleesha Yusif
Sebrena Yusif?
Naadiya Yusif?
Moumtaz Yusif
Rukiya- is a Tajik name, gleaned from a government person.
Sumangul- is another, same source.
Maghfirat- still another name from the government.
Gulshat- a Bashkir name, Kazakh origin, one website says it means "happy flower". (I know Gul- is connected to flowers... note SamanGUL)
Aliya and Dinara are Azerbaijan sportswomen. Many sports players there have Russian names Valeriya, Oksana, Natalya and Alla.
Amina, Rushana, Nabat- Turkmenistan athletes' names.
Akdja- Turkman politic; and Guljemal, Saliha, Sabina, Jennet (var. Janet),Jahan, Rosalina, Miray, Miral. Svetlana is listed as "popular" but is a Russian name. from http://www.top-most-popular-baby-names.c...
...Persian word “giul” – “rose” from https://www.neweurasia.net/culture-and-h...
So, I suggest you search (if you don't think these are "cute") thru files of politicians, sports figures, university teachers, etc, where you will find a crowd of women with names listed. If you don't care for AUTHINTICITY, just make something up!
More to chew the fat over...
As in the previous eras of Iranian and Arabic influence, in the Turkmen name giving of the Soviet period there emerged Russian and international names, and sometimes purely Soviet names - for example, Saylov (elections). In the post-Soviet time, the names of ancient heroes of Turkmen epics - Gorogly, Kurt, etc. arrived on the scene. This shows that the Turkmen onomastics, the collection of names, is as much alive and changing creature as other areas of life and living of the Turkmen people.
With regard to female names, there were naturally used epithets inherent in women: Ovadan (beautiful), Nyazik (graceful), Gyozel, Zyba or Jemile (beauty), Kumush (silver), Altin (gold), Maral and Keyik (deer), Aybyolek (a piece of the moon), Nabat (candy), etc. The bunch of "flower" names is particularly impressive. Here we find simple Guller (flowers), and Gizilgul (rose), Gulyalek (poppy), Nargul (pomegranate blossom), Destegul (bouquet of flowers), Bahargul (spring flower), Aygul (moon flower), Guljahan (world flower). per site: http://www.turkmenistaninfo.ru/?page_id=...
Sebrena is nice. To get your film attention far and wide, having a name that is pronounceable outside of the native language is important, so I think Sebrena is a really pretty name to use.
I doubt that the dwellers of the Russian section will be able to come up with a proper female Arab name.
try a name having the same initial letter.. they make a good impact...like Yasmine Yusif (both start with Y)
