Hugely.
After the NHS it's one of the best things about the UK. I don't watch much of the TV content, but I listen to the radio all the time (3/4/6). Anyone who has ever endured the telly/radio abroad should surely appreciate just how exceptional and good value the BBC is. I'd happily pay double. The lefty bias thing is utter crap - they get equal accusations of bias from both sides. During the most recent Palestinian/Israeli conflict the same amount of complaints were received from both supporting factions which to me, indicates a broadly centrist position.
I might be a saddo, but I'd feel desolate without the BBC
I absolutely adore the BBC particularly the radio stations which provide every type of programming for every possible taste - all kinds of music Radio 1/2/3/6. News, drama, comedy, discussions. the Arts Radio Radio 4. World News BBC World Service. All without advertisements. The licence fee costs each of us less than £3 per week. The BBC is the envy of the World and one of the few elements of British life it is worth living here for
yes and I am an American who listens to many shows on Radio 4/Radio 4 Extra/ Radio 2/World Service every week.
And I am fan of British TV- I have an All Regions dvd player so I can watch UK dvds
I would Gladly pay the License fee!
No,
I rarely watch anything on the BBC and never listen to any of its radio stations.
Which is why I resent being forced to pay a tax to support the company.
The Marxist suits at the BBC think their six figure taxpayer funded salaries is the "bees knees"
Depends on choice of content.
YES..BEST thing in Britain....
