PREMIER INN INFRO?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
I have recently booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child and was wondering if when paying i would need any kind of ID. I have already given my card details and was wondering when i am checking into my room and paying upfront with card would i need to bring ID or is that only when paying in cash? I have never stayed with Premier Inn before therefore am unsure of this information. The room is for me and my friends and one of them will not be able to attend until later on in the day. We are planning on going out in the evening and won't be returning until around 2am. Do the room cards we are given act as a pass for us to enter the hotel? The premier inn i am staying at is located in Leicester. I hope some one could help with this information, thank you

I have stayed in many Premier Inns and never been asked for ID

You give your Credit Card details and fill in a short form. That's all. When you depart, they just check that you used no "extras" and you walk away.

Premier Inns are usually very good comfort and value.

They will want to see the card you used to book the room.

Room key cards are supposed to be handed into reception when you go out. You can access the hotel 24 hours a day and there should be a manned reception. It isn't a B&B or hostel, you can come and go as you wish.

Your credit card will be enough ID. They will take payment when you arrive. You can take your key with you when you go out.

There is not always somebody in reception. You can drop your key in a box when you check out.

I stay there often. No ID is required and you can take your room key with you. The reception is often not manned all night, if the porter has other jobs to do.. My son stayed at the Leicester PI last week and said it was great.

I have never been asked for ID
