I know about the beach, and I'm planning on visiting this 6d cinema there
I really couldn't find anything else unique and adventurous to do...

The Oceanarium by the pier is a really nice aquarium.
There is a family theme park just outside Bournemouth called Adventure Wonderland. A bit further away is Moors Valley Park. A family park with playgrounds and play trails in the forest.
Take the open topped bus tour which will be a really good and cheap day out - I've done it several times and really enjoy it. You could venture a little way out of Bournemouth and go to St Hengistbury Head or to Poole Quay
The New Forest National Park is adjacent to Bournemouth and is beautiful. Lots of suitable tracks for a pram

There is a hot air balloon in the pretty park by the beach that gives great views of the countryside, town
and as far away as the isle of wight.
