Back to the question, I'd say ￡1000 for both of you seems sufficient, but we don't know what you're going to be spending your money on, just save up as much as you can, then anything extra you have just save for another holiday or whatever.
To buy lunch time snacks will cost around ￡30 for 2, drinks are around double UK prices, I don't know the price of the jeep trips but when I went to Salou half board last year and for 2 adults without going on any trips and only the occasional drink we spent around ￡800 per week - if money is tight then McDonald's do a happy meal for around ￡6, most of the theme park attractions close 29th September.
If it is Spanish it is the euro, prices are similar to the UK. Take some cash but take your debit card as well or you can get special travel cards from the bank where it is a credit card but you pre-pay money onto it. Like a gift voucher card but you can use anyway like a credit card.

im going to prtaventura in september with my boyfriend for 1 week. we are staying half board at the cribe hotel so tickets to theme park are included. we are wanting to go to the beach water park and go on the jeep trip. we have never been on holiday without parents before so have no idea how much to take we will probably be having a few drinks most nights and want to bring gifts back aswell any idea on how much we should take?
