Pros and Cons of moving to London?

Im an Australian High School student and I was offered to move to London for a year to experience the artistic culture of London. I realise this trip would be exceedingly beneficial and 'once in a lifetime' opportunity but I just want to know more information on moving overseas when you're a high school student especially since the Queensland Curriculum is different from pretty much everywhere else aha as we finish school when we're 17 and I'm not sure what it's like over in London. So overall I just need some pros and cons for moving over there as a high school student and stuff I guess aha sorry if it's unclear, I always miss words when I'm typing :S

Pros:

Many things to do

Lots of events for all ages

City life

Good food :P

Landmarks

Lots of teenage/20s type activities

Clubbing

Shopping

Easy access by train, tube and bus to everywhere

Cons:

Very crowded and busy

Waiting in line for ages

Some things can be quite pricey

I'm sure there are many more of both, but these are the only ones I could think of right now!

Hope I helped :)

You can't do that at 17yrs old, you would have to wait until you are 18yrs old and then apply for a working holiday visa which allows you up to 24 months 50/50 work/holiday and is non immigration once in a lifetime experience

Educationally, it wouldn't make sense. 16-18 year olds in the UK study towards a 2-year course called A-levels; while you can do just the first year to get AS grades, these won't be worth anything anywhere.

If it effects your formal education it's a daft idea. Finish your compulsory education, then, if you want to experience living in the UK, either apply for university in the UK (if you can afford it) or a Youth Mobility visa under the working holiday scheme.

sounds like an unwise move , there is no "artistic culture" in london any more than any city
