Also, any insight you have on traveling overseas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
And I always thought Lichtenstein was an independent country!
You can certainly do trips just across the border to Germany, Austria and Switzerland but you cannot see much in a day because of the distances involved. Any other country will be too far for a day trip.
For goodness sake, don't you know that distances are considerable? You would spend far less time and money travelling if you simply went and stayed in various cities, instead of doing this back and forth nonsense. Instead of basing yourself in an expensive city like Paris, and going back and forth, it makes much more sense in terms of both money and time to simply relocate your bit of luggage (you won't need much, you can always wash clothes along the way anyway) to a cheaper city, stay there for a few days, and then move on to the next destination.
Lichtenstein is NOT in Germany but a GERMAN SPEAKING micro state between Switzerland & Austria...BEST of Austria is a LONG away away from there...Touring around is easier for anything other than day trips from a given centre......EUROPE is NOT that small.....
Not only would Switzerland (which is one of the most beautiful countries I ever saw) be nearby, but so would the northern parts of Italy. P.S: Austria is boring... driving through Austria to get to Italy is truly worth it though. There's a lot to see in Germany itself, actually. It is a great country.
You stay either in Liechtenstein or in Germany, different countries.
Center your trip in Munich. There is plenty to see and do there. It is only a short train trip to Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Liechtenstein and the Czech Republic.
France, Paris. Go anywhere. Italy, netherlands, germany is beside netherlands.
Lichtenstein is not "in Germany"
