Nope... UK already has it's own world class stable currency....... Eurozone is in a bit of a iffy state 'cos of Greece & Italy...... Eurozone also limits our routes to get our own economy out of a pickle by doing things like tweaking interest rates to calm things down or boost them.
People have started to realise a few years ago that the Eurozone was a daft idea created for political idealism instead of sound economic reality.
Absolutely not. A shared currency was a daft idea in the first place, and that's why we kept out of it. Joining the euro would mean Germany having power over the British economy as well, quite apart from giving the Chancellor less power to manage it. Join a shared currency and you lose control over interest rates, for a start.
And a shared currency only works if all the economies in it are equally strong. If one falls behind, everything goes pear-shaped VERY fast, as is blindingly obvious now it's happened to Greece.

Even the mega pro EU SNP, in the event of achieving independence, don't want join the Euro. They want to keep the Pound, even without being part of Britain.
What does that tell you?

But should Labour win the election, we may be forced to do so as part of the IMF bail out.
The Euro is about to implode. Joining the Euro would be the dumbest possible thing to do.
