why would you tell the hospital where you are vacationing what are you a silly boy?. You can be sure they will not give you the job if you are like 'Hey guys i was in Amsterdam, and smoked weed, do i still get the job?'
I mean if they ask specifically for a country is because those countries are know to have some sort of viral breakouts.
They do not care where you have been. On the other hand they will request you to submit to a drug test. The decision will be made based on that.. and not whether you smoked it on the moon/Amsterdam/US.
bottom line.. don't talk to much... and don't say things unless you are asked and need to. Anything you say, can and will most likely, be used against you..
Don't lie and say you weren't in Amsterdam, if asked - they can easily check up on that. And just to cover yourself, make sure you go and experience some of the things in Amsterdam that DON'T have anything to do with weed or hookers.
if you're over 18, you can get weed anywhere in the netherlands, except in the southern provinces if you're not a residence of the netherlands.
Going to Amsterdam is not forbidden, and by itself won't get you not hired
If you live in a country where drug usage is criminal and tests are common then maybe you should curb your urges.
