Spain Holiday Help!!!!?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
I have been to every holiday resort in Spain since my daughter was born and now go with young grandchildren and i find the best resort is Alcudia Majorca but the All Inclusive hotels will be very busy with children although Club Mac is fantastic but by September you could get the rain and by end September a but cold to go into the pool, avoid the Bellevue Complex as the food is terrible and everyone gets bitten by the mosquito's, For the beach the Cuidad Blanca is right on the beach and is lovely but we went to the apartment and it was very expensive and it is now around £600 each for 7 days. if you have to go in Sept/October I would go further south to the Costa Del Sol and the Gardenia Park in Feungirola was nice and beside the beach. The only places I would avoid if you want a relaxing holiday is Benidorm, Llorett, Salou and Magaluf & Palma. Menorca was very nice but mainly retired couples or people looking for a very relaxing holiday, good luck

I have been to Ibiza Es Cana not too busy in September The Miami hotel or apartments are super almost on the beach good for children,Es Cana is a quiet resort no nutcases hanging around bars, some nice restaurants and bars, think there was also a small fun fair for toddlers.

If you look for a package deal, you'll finish up being disappointed if you don't fit into the package. If you're looking for Spain, first find a town that fits in with what you want (beach etc) that you can get to easily. You'll find information on the airline sites and on the Spanish Railways site. Now take a look at the reviews for the hotels in that town on Tripadvisor. Once you've decided where and when you want to go, arrange your own hotel, flight, transfer and travel insurance. Not only will you get a holiday that's geared to what you want, but you'll get it a lot cheaper than buying a package from a travel agent.

Where in Spain?

5 stars

Marbella is good you have the Marriott Playa Andulcia and Marritt Marbella vacation club they have two outside pools and 2 inside pools and all child friendly.

Or guadalupin Puerta banus

Or

For a nice 4 star - the Rincon Andaluz

very child friendly

All are near to the beach and the main centre

Most pools are closed that time of year. You're barking up the wrong tree if you're looking for a pool in the fall.

Try looking for HOTELS, not packages. It's sometimes a bit more trouble, but it's worth it if you can tailor to your own needs, rather than those of the hotel.

try the poitiente area of LA CALA lovely beach quite and peaceful lots of shops and supermarket in LA Cala great for kids toilets on the beach, close to benidorm 20 minutes stoll along the prom, nice clean beaches , but please stay away from the JM Laca apartments try looking at easy jet holidays.

good luck and have a great time
