OK you have been told how to get the card but can I suggest you take a sleeping bag and a pillow for the coach as you will get cold during the night and your butt gets sore with sitting and you can use the pillow to sit on and the pillow for your neck for a sleep, you will be on the coach for a long time travelling from Scotland and I have done it several times from Glasgow and it is a long tiring journey, take lots of money as Salou is very expensive and to be honest not the type of place I would want my 14 year old going to without parents because it is a party resort, do not buy any perfume or jewelry from the african street traders as it is fake, take and use high factor sun cream, don't buy it there as it is very expensive, if you are going to Portaventura you will have a long time to wait in the queues, hope you have a nice time, Good Luck from Glasgow.
Get your health card now! It allows you free medical care under the Spanish NHS.
Not to take it can cost a fortune.
If in doubt, ask your teacher on Monday. Without it, they may not let you go!
The health cards a great idea ,but I'd get other travel insurance too .its pretty cheap but worth it,as not all hospitals and medical centres in Spain accept the medical card
Hi well I'm 14 and going abroad with my school to Salou, Spain from Scotland on a bus in June and a couple of weeks ago the teacher who is arranging it told us all to go online and get this free insurance card thing . He showed me one and all I can remember is that in the top left hand corner it had stars going round in a circle . Does anyone know what this card is called ?????
Thanks x
