St Pancras station to Heathrow?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
Hi,

Travelling from Nottingham to St.Pancras Intl, then taking the Piccadilly line to Heathrow T4.

I will be carrying a very very heavy suitcase with me, so is it going to be very painful to catch the tube from St.Pancras? Is it stair-free? Will I need to cross the street or anything?

Thank you!

(Open to any suggestions)

It's a short walk from St Pancras to the Tube station, and then lifts or escalators down to the platforms. The Tube stations at the major traffic hubs like airports and mainline railway stations are reasonably convenient for passengers with luggage, for obvious reasons. You should be fine.

There is a bit of awalk from St Pancras International to the Piccadilly Line platfoms, however, tere is no need t go outside, you cross a street but underground. There are lifts down to the Underground station and escaltors but wheels onthe suitcase will help.

Just make sure you get a train going to Terminal 4 as some of the trains only go to terminals 1,3 and 5 and not 4.

At St Pancras/Kings Cross there are lifts (more suitable if you have heavy luggage) down to the Piccadilly Line platforms, as well as escalotors

You need to grab a trolley to put your case on
