Hi :) I'm thinking of studying in Turkey for 3-6 months (Erasmus). I love turkish language and culture. I have met in the past many friendly turkish people. The point is that i'm partly from Greece and even though many people believe in Greek-Turkish friendship, some others still hate each other. So, would it be safe for me to come there alone?

It will be safe dont worry because not many turk hates greeks and if you see some turks who hates greeks, they won't kill ya dont worry they will just ignore you :)

Erasmus is wonderful in everywhere I think. Now I'm an Erasmus student in Italy, and it's my last days in here , I will turn back to Turkey. Don't you worry about nothing and enjoy your Erasmus days. I suggest you to go to Istanbul or Izmir. Eski?ehir, Ankara, maybe Antalya or Adana are good choices too.

Turks really don't have any problems with Greeks. But I know that there are STILL some fools from both sides, we should avoid them all. Past is past! Majority of Turks don't hate Greeks, seriously, since years I've never heard anyone say "I hate Greeks!" or something like that ( i mean in the real life). We even call Greece "kom?u" which means "neighbor" in Turkish. lol
