Taking food into the eu?

Unless you have specific dietery needs don't bother, some things just now are cheaper than the UK here on the Costa del sol, we have Iceland, Lidls, the big markets called Carrefour, Tescos, Euromarket, depends where you are going.........we have the local markets for fresh vegs etc., Fuengirola Tuesday, Arroyo de la Miel, Fridays on the Tivoli car park,

You can also eat out cheap, set meals for lunches and dinner, ranging from 5 euros to 12, which includes wine/beer, you can still get coffee/brandy/biscuits for 2.50cts -2.75ct, unlike the Uk where in London last week a guy from SKY TV was charged £46 for 2 brandies..................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... hope this helps.

Last year because of food allergy's and the price of food my daughter took cereal, dried pasta(super-noodles), tea bags, coffee, sugar, packet soup, tinned foods but remember all these things will add weight to your suitcase, if you have to buy food there you have Lidle which is the cheapest

take what u like but , for instance, if you take coffee, put into a jiffy bag as the jar weighs a lot.

tea is dear, and so are these things-

coffee

shampoo and conditioner

sun creams

biscuits

cheeses

corned beef

There are no restrictions for private use within the EU.

I'm going on a 2 week self catered holiday. I know. Can buy most things out there but if I buy it here my mum will pay :p

What foods am I not allowed to bring into Spain from the uk?

Thanks in advance :)
