The beach is nice.
Go to Parc Guell, there's a small admission fee but the views over the city and the park itself are just lovely.
It's still warmer than northern Europe, but you'll probably need a jacket or a sweater at night.
Watch out for pickpockets and petty thieves. They are quicker than you'd believe.
Barcelona is the most expensive city to visit in Spain. Good luck finding anything cheap to do. Beach season is over, and it isn't a particularly good museum city either. Everyone says see the Gaudi buildings, but the admission to those things is EXPENSIVE.
Barcelona has a zoo and aquarium, that's just for starters. Temp in Nov is about 16 degrees. It's a great place to hang out and do nothing as bars, restaurants etc are very cheap compared to Paris, Rome, London etc and it has lovely boulevards and squares

i'm going to Barcelona this Saturday for 4 days. i'm going a football match to watch Barcelona play but asides from that can anyone recommend some good things to do for an extended weekend.
preferably cheapish as well :)
are off-licences/ pubs particularly common? what are the beaches and museums like etc...
