Girona airport is located about 85 kms / 55 ms from Barcelona. A taxi would be very expensive. Shuttle buses are available from the airport to the Barcelona North train station from where you could continue your travel by taxi or by public transport.

There's a coach that brings you to one of the main train/metro hubs in the city centre, and you can figure out your way from there, or else ask your accommodation to send a car to meet you at that station. I'm sure if you google it, you'll find the name of the station it goes to.

i would take the bus to Barcelona, then a taxi to my hotel.

Im going to spain in the coming month and i was wondering, what is the best transportation from the airport to the hotel in barcelona.

Is it by bus / taxi or there is a train that i can go with direct to barcelona.
