Hey all, I'll be traveling to the UK to study for a year or two and I'm wondering if there is an I.D for me to carry instead of going around with my passport just to verify my age when clubbing/drink, etc..

If you are studying then you join the Students Union, that is acceptable ID and also gets you lots of discounts for leisure, IT, food etc

You;ll have a student card with photo I.D. which you can use if needed.

Anything with a picture of yourself on and your date of birth such as your student card or a drivers license/provisional if you have one.

You won't be asked to show ID that much. Even kids go to pubs. 18 is the drinking age.
