Northern Spain has a similar weather to southern Britain, so it might be warm during the day but you might face rain.
In Central Spain there is a saying that says "9 meses de Invierno y 3 de Infierno", with literally says "9 months of Winter and 3 of Hell" because Winter is long, Spring and Autumn are really short and Summer is really really hot, more than Rome
Easter and Southern Spain will be really hot, maybe not as much as Rome but almost, but if you ar by the sea it will make it more bearable and the nights will be cooler.
very hot indeed, it often goes up to 40 and the sun is really strong too so you will get sun burnt after being out for more than an hour. not the best time to visit madrid really.
