I'm half Greek, rest is a mix of typical Anglo-Germanic American, I'm 32 and 6'3 (192cm) tall. I played American football when I was younger, so I'm not slight or skinny. I also don't have very fashionable good looks. I prefer a lot more traditional fare, namely because I feel a lot of current men's fashion is tilted towards men who are "pretty" and not as big and, well, brutish as I feel sometimes (ex-gf called me 'gorilla' for a nickname). I'm pale-skinned as someone who's half-Greek goes, brown hair, and green eyes.

As a swedish girl myself, I'd say you might definitely have a chance. The issue isn't about where you're from since foreigners here are extremely attractive to us girls especially since they are thought of as more exotic. It's more if your good-looking and charming. You could be swedish and girls could avoid you anyway unless you're actually worth talking to.
Just relax, Swedish girls are not complicated and pretty open. Sure you will not have a problem approaching girls they are easy going. I lived in Sweden many years and I must say I like Sweden very much, the country living is a bit boring but the best bet is Stockholm in summer June-August. Allot is going on.
You will be surprised how many non Nordic's are living in Stockholm ( and you have to compete with :-) ) an generally Swedish girls like nice and nice behaving young men of all kinds and colors.
