They will hit on anyone who is naive enough to either marry them to get them out of Turkey or who they can con into sending them money or expensive gifts.
Watch Channel 5's Holiday Love Rats Exposed if you can find it online. They interview these guys who talk about how they go after the unattractive ones, older ones or naive young ones, flatter them, then find the next one as soon as the first one leaves. They will claim to be in love but then want their 'girfriend' to send them a new phone or an Xbox or money or other gifts.
Not all Turkish guys are like this. Those who are educated and have their own money are not sleazy about hitting on every girl they see. They have manners and treat women with respect. It's the pigs that try to hit on everyone, make lewd comments, profess to love you right away, etc
Any random guy trying to hit on you on the street or beach hits on everyone. An educated Turkish guy with a good job would never do this. The Turkish guys hitting on you on the street are not the type of Turkish guys you want to get involved with and Turkish girls won't even touch them. Go to Turkey and get to know the nice, respectful guys who do not harass women on the street and are not just looking for a foreigner to screw or buy them gifts. There are lovely Turkish men, but you are not going to find them harassing you out in public. The good ones don't do that
Its because you go to shouth Turkey for vacation where all low income people lives. This is the reason they hit on you. However if ypu go to Istanbul where all rich high class Turks are, they wouldnt hit on you as much as they do in south even if they do hit on you its probably only for a one night stand.
They are very flirtatious and really dont know how to respect women, they will stare and tell u what u want to hear because they would think u are "easy". Many of them are cheaters and dont treat their wives/girlfriends that good. I have heard many stories from Turkish girls that their boyfriend mistreated them.

they like variety in there life, when i went to turkey i had them hitting on me constantly , found it very uncomfortable, you blonde by any chance? you like variety in your diet...same works for them :)
