What do Russians think about Russification of Siberia?

Russification?

Most of the population in Siberia lives in several larger cities. They almost all were founded and settled by ethnic Russians, while most of the natives lived as semi-nomads. So the "russification" happened when the urban population with relatively developed infrastructure, healthcare, etc exceeded the population of the semi-nomadic tribes. There wasn't anything even close to say American-Indian wars in the US, since probably the Yermak campaign in XVI.

Anyhow the natives have the same rights and obligations as any other citizen of Russia, plus some special benefits depending on the region and specifics of the region.

All the people in Siberia speak in Russian. It is the official language. However, all indigenous peoples have a say in their own language. In schools, in addition to the Russian language is required to study the national language. Often you can hear the mixed language. Some words are not in the national language, for this reason, they are replaced with Russian words. An amusing mixture.

They just saw Siberia as another Part of the old Imperial Russia, to connect with the East Coast (Pacific)

Chetak

It is already Russian. Whats your problem? When is the U.S. going to stop invading and occupying countries and borrowing money from China to do it?

It is as anglification of North America but without genocide.

But what can to russificate here, if here all is russian? Ahahahahaha!
