Lisbon is fine, but if you come do take your time and explore the country. Portugal is smaller than the state of New York but it's remarkably diverse and full of surprises. Read about it and go beyond Lisbon. You may well get a crush for Daniela's country too.

Lisbon is lovely, I'd highly recommend it. But bring good shoes for walking, there are hills to be negotiated.
