Media is media. It's never fully honest, never fully wrong.
It cherry picks, slightly (or not) distorts some information, invokes certain emotional responses in audience etc.
RT is a bit of a counterbalancing tool against jWestern russophobic media. It uses jWest own manipulative tricks they use against Russia. Which is why RT is hated by narrow-minded sheeple in the West and Israhell, who don't understand "the big game".
However, IMO, RT is much less hysterical, biased and sensational than typical Western channels. But it is in no wise an alternative source of information.
Don't forget that any channel has its owner, that owner also has his owner. They are puppets, and if something changes in financial, political etc worlds then their ultimate corporatocratic puppeteers will make them sing an absolutely different tune. It's not the case with RT (although I don't read/watch all what they produce), but some channels/news really astonish me from time to time. One example is this Megyn Kelly's (Fox) report:

I still contemplate on who and why made her compose it the way she did...
one of the world trashy sites. Pure Pro-Kremlin propaganda.
I think its much much better than awful CNN.
