They speak SPANISH everywhere. Castellano, is what they call it there, (and in most countries), because the others are also considered "espa?ol", as well.
They speak catalán in Catalunya, and variations of it in the Islas Baleares, and all the way down the coast to the region de Valencia.
They speak Euskara (Basque) in the Basque regions, which include the País Vasco, and everything to the Region of Navarra, and I believe the Region to the West of the País Vasco.
They speak Gallego in Galicia.
They really aren't so much "native", as they had to be resurrected after the death of Franco. In most cases, there are people who speak them, but mostly amongst themselves.
EVERYWHERE is a good place to practice castellano.
Basque is spoken mainly in the Basque Country (Gipuzkoa, Vizkaia, álava), and also in Navarra (mainly northern). Anyways, there're basque people everywhere but in these places we really appreciate it when they talk to us in Basque, because even though Spanish is our second language, we'll always prefer Basque. Catalan is spoken in Catalonia and in Valencia (well, it's really valenciano, but it's pretty similar). Gallego is spoken in Galicia (north-west of Spain). There're other smaller languages, but they're more likely to be dialects. I reckon that you go somewhere around Madrid or Castilla, since those are the places where they speak most Spanish. Andalucia wouldn't be a bad choice either, but their pronunciation is kinda different so you might have more difficulty understanding.
i think Spanish is spoken all over Spain but used as a second language in some areas.
Aranese is spoken is north west catalonia
Basque is spoken in many parts of mainland Spain
Catalan is used within the Valensian community
Galician is used in the Castile and Leon provinces
I think all these areas also spk Spanish tho
... Don't forget to include Silbo Gomera as a Spanish language aswell

Spain is very confusing in terms of what languages are spoken. Of course there is Spanish (known as Castillian), but there are also languages such as Catalan, Valencian, Basque and others.
Which are the biggest, how many people speak them, where are they spoken NATIVELY? I know that Catalonia is a Catalan speaking area, but please somebody explain this to me, I want to know where I can practice Spanish in Spain.
