What part of Spain is hottest in september?

The Costa del Sol generally plus Benidorm, with it's micro climate, offer very similar weather in September. The average night time temperature is around 18*C (64*F) whilst during the day time the average is in the region of 28*C (82*F). The sea is ideal for swimming at around 23*C (73*F). You could confidently expect 8-10hrs of sunshine per day.

I used to holiday on the Costa del Sol regularly in September, but for the past 4 or 5 years have opted for early October. They are 2 of my favourite months (along with May) to enjoy Spain.

Cordoba, jaen, Sevilla, they can have searing temperatures even in September. It iusually depends on the wind direction. Every year is different. I live inland from the Costa del Sol and we get it warmer than the coast.

COSTA DEL SOL, further in land you travel the hotter it will get! Seville, Jaen, Cordoba, etc., you will toast! As another states, it can change, over the past few years it has been cooler, but you never can tell.........................
