Heavy traffic. Excellent public transport: trains, tube, buses, water taxis etc.
Busy people from every sort of background and ethnicity. Everybody in a hurry. Not easy to make friends if you are new.
Expensive accommodation. Expensive food. Expensive everything.
Theatres. Museums. Art Galleries. Restaurants.
Historic buildings. Pageantry.
Grimy but lots of parks and trees.
You would either love it or hate it. I spent a few years there. I'm happy to live in the countryside now but still like to visit London.
Huge. I was surprised how large it is. I'm used to walking everywhere and it just wasn't feasible in London.
Expensive. Hotels, food, and even attractions are expensive.
