Do you think it'd be worth living there?
Living in Turkey might be a little bit confusing deoending where you want to live. If you live in Istanbul you will notice that a lot of people are like western fashionista's and not everyone wears a headkerchief and it'll be a crowded city, but still a place you must visit because it's really fun. This also goes for the tourist cities with beaches and hotels. The villages are different though, those are less western and rather poor.
The people can be really nice, especially if you are a foreigner who speaks some turkish. But be aware of the people who want to sell you really cheap stuff for expensive prices.
Daily life, the people in the neighborhood will be talkative like most Turkish people. You will come across and Asian/Arabian culture because most of the people are muslim (also Christian) and our ancestors are asian and our race is asian, not many people know that though because we're a mix... haha. I hope this helped. My apologies for if I have false information.
well lifestyle depends on you what is your lifestyle?
people, i dont think its different then other countries mostly good and usualll depends on where you live. some may not even know your name after living in same apartment for 5 year (i dont at least) or some may be friendly like some of my neighbors which i still dont know who they are.
since istanbul is a big city you probably gona spend at least 2 hour on bus, metro, metrobus, rest is up to you.
It depends on whether you live in the cities or more rural areas. Rural areas tend to be a bit more conservative, especially as you go further east.
That said, I found Turkish people to be very friendly and welcoming and would love to go back there someday.
