ballet and arts like music are for CULTURED people. but what is CULTURE? it is WHAT people are. American culture is pathetic, sometimes, with the car and TV culture. a CAR is your EGO. TV was the main entertainment for 50 years or so. and sadly, Americans are paranoid of Spanish, and learning "outside" languages is a "communistic" behavior. knowing arts and music is for the "weak". the insecure American has to live up to a HE-MAN culture.

treating other people well is Russian culture. a visitor is cared for. fed, drinks offered, etc. wishing to be educated even if not, is culture of Russians. reading books, not studying Cliffs Notes, but reading LITERATURE is part of Russian culture. traditions like respect for the old is Russian culture. Russians study foreign languages from early grades, it is part of the education culture.

Very good, Russian culture is excellent.

Russia has a great culural tradition, possibly the best in the World amongst it's authors.
