Palma de Mallorca is also worth a visit. Here you will find a lot of shopping opportunities, beautiful squares (like the famous Plaza Major) and nice outdoor cafés. I also recommend to buy tapas in one of the side streets, here you can find some real authentic tapas :-)
If you stay in the North of Mallorca you can visit Alcudia old town or take a drive to Cap de Formentor. On the east coast (in Porto Cristo) you can visit Coves del Drach, which has Europe's largest underground lake. On the west coast you can easily spend a day in the beautiful sea-side resort Port de Soller. If you travel with children there are three water parks in Mallorca, the best is Western Water Park close to Magaluf.
