My favourite months are May and October, although I've visited Spain every month of the year except July/August when temperatures become a little OTT.
May and June are lovely months to visit the Costa Blanca (where Altea is). You get temperatures normally from low to high 20s Celsius and Altea is gonna be rather happening and vibrant at that time too.
If you want to make sure the nights are warm enough to be outside for parties on the beach, bbq etc, June is probably a better choice.
September/early October works too with similar temperatures but you can be unlucky and catch a week of thunderstorms or rain in the fall, though usually that happens later in October.
I think that the best time to go to spain is Spring!! i'm a italian girl and i went near madrid on march and the weather was veri confortable !!! :D Bye!
Spring and Fall are the easiest times as far as heat.
Not sure what the weather is, there, but Spring is when the flowers are at their peak, or early fall.
April or October is more comfortable.
I'd like to go to Altea in Spain. I have never been abroad and don't like it tooooooo hot. I like it warm with a breeze. So when is the best time to go, weather-wise?
