Where in Europe to spend christmas and new year?

It's first time for me here in europe and i'm going to spend a year here, in Germany, with some friends.

But we are confused what to do in christmas holiday between 20/12 to 5/1.

Do you know any fun activities to do in Germany and around Germany during? such as parties or just tourism and sightseeing

Christmas is a major holiday in most European countries, so many tourist sites will be closed for the 25 and 26 of December, and New Year's Day, and possibly on the days around also.

My advice would be to stay in Germany - where Christmas as we know it originated, and visit other German cities and the various Christmas markets. You can always google each city to find out what other interesting things might be on, or what might be open and when.

Munich is great for Christmas. Berlin is fun over New Years. Over a million people gather around Brandenburg Gate every New Years for a huge street party with live music, food and drink stalls, fireworks and it's free. It's one of the biggest New Years parties in Europe and you'll meet people from all over the world

So you plan to stay in Europe, for one year, with your friends. If you are not an EU citizen just how do you expect to get a visa that allows you to do that.

i don't know about Germany but in Rome they have very beautiful cathedrals where you can worship our Lord Jesus Christ, after all, the Holiday is all about Him.

God bless you.
