Where is good to go on holiday in spain?

We absolutely loved San Sebastien in Basque country right near the border with Basque France. It was a beautiful city, had lots of opportunities for cultural activities, a lively nightlife and the beaches were beautiful. It isn't too far from places such as Biarritz for day trips (and more beaches!). It was also quite affordable as it isn't smack on the tourist destinations, but was still very visitor-friendly.

You should definitely go for the Spainish Island of Mallorca/Majorca.

It is the most wonderful place and you have many resorts to choose from. The party resort in Mallorca is Magaluf, but it is full of Brits. But you could stay in the neighbouring resort of Palma Nova, if you fancy a night out you can walk to Magaluf. Palma Nova has guests from allover Europe.

If you prefer a more romantic resort then you should stay in Cala d'Or on the east coast. It's a lovely and relaxed resort with a beautiful city centre with lots of restaurants and small shops. You will find five amazing beaches in Cala d'Or as well. It is my personal favorite.

Have a nice trip :-)

I have been to every holiday resort in Spain and Alcudia or Santa Ponsa in Majorca was my favourites or Salou in Costa Dorada. To me Benidorm was a dirty noisy Blackpool, Good Luck

Why not look at Sitges? It is a small Spanish resort, just south of Barcelona.

It is not cheap, but you want to avoid Brits.

You may choose among places Majorca, Costa Blanca, Tenerife, Costa del Sol or Barcelona. Enjoy your holidays!!

Me and my boyfriend want to go on holiday this summer, our first thought was alicante as it has the beach and a city but I heard that it was full of Brits and that's not the kind of place I want to go, does anyone know if it is full of brits in the centre of the province and if there's anywhere similar and cheap, a city and beach kind of scene in spain? Please no where that's just like kavos, thanks!
