Where should I study in Spain?

I studied on Valladolid, just north of Madrid (not touristy at all). Your going to get a lot of tourists in Madrid and Barcelona. But I liked Madrid a little better. Barcelona seemed to have a bit more of a French influence.

Oh Barcelona even if it is a tourist place it is so amazing and you can deal with it. Everyone I have met loves Barcelona so much, it is an artists city and has so much modernisme it really is quite beautiful. If you want a cool place go to Barcelona, I mean just look at some of the stuff it has to offer

Malaga is a good choice, nice - not to big and not to small. With the best climate in Europe, beaches and in the middle of the entire Costa del Sol. Malaga is not really a tourist city but a university city with more than 40.000 students per year. But you are really close to the tourist areas if you like, just some minutes with the train and you are in Torremolinos.

Where do your have the offers to go to?

Most schools give you a couple of choices. What are they?

*edit* So, if your choices are Madrid and Barcelona, then those are your choices...what are you planning? Outside programs that might not transfer your credits? You need to make sure you know what you are doing.

I don't want to go to any of the big tourist locations (granada, salamanca, barcelona, madrid, etc)

I want to go somewhere where there won't be a lot of tourists, but is a cool place.
