Which Slavic country has the best:

Culture

Language

Which ones are good for tourists?

And the most developed.

The Balkan countries are definitely jewels, which might explain why they all felt it worth fighting for back in the 90s. Of these, Croatia is probably the most interesting for travel with fantastic variation including the Plitvice Lakes National Park , a wonderful coast-line and the city of Zagreb. They also speak very good English in this region. You really can't go wrong with any of the other countries as they all have great offerings (Sen clearly has never been to Bled).

The Czech Republic is also interesting as pointed out above, but they have no coast and most of the emphasis is placed on Prague. Outside of the tourist areas the quality of English takes a dive so be prepared for less communicative people if you are stretching out to new areas.

Russia is, of course, the largest and most diverse, but keep in mind that travelling there requires a lot more "Red Tape" for most nationalities (pun intended) so you really have to plan that one in advance.

Finally, honourable mention to Budapest (Hungary), Cracow (Poland) and taking a cruise on the Danube from Vienna to the Black Sea.

Croatia, Montenegro are the best for tourism..

Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia are the most developed...

About culture and original Slavic language, there is no doubt that would be Russia...

The worst of them is FYROM from all aspects though Bosnia comes close..

I can only tell you about the ones I have been to and in order its a tie between Croatia and the Czech republic, Bosnia and Serbia are ok. The worst would be Albania by far and then Bulgaria and FYROM (which is basically Bulgaria (culture, language)) would be second worse.

I have never been to Slovenia but I know it is good also. Russia is in a pretty bad economic downturn right now.

At of all of them I would say Croatia is the best as a tourist attraction because of its beaches followed by Czech republic. I cant say for Slovenia but it might be better.

Slovenia is great, people are nice and speak english very well, a lot of things to do in nature, write to me if you need more info.

Croatia has gereat coastline but you have already missed the season. Maybe wait for next summer.

Bosnia is nice although maybe not "developped" is this western sense.

Serbia, I have only been to Belgrade, beautiful city, for others I don't know.

Czech Rep: I have only been to Prague, nice but with a lot of tourists (and I saw some public houses on Austrian border I think ... just saying ..)

Russia, if I were you I wouldn't go there, politically there is a mess right now ... If you must I think Moscow and Sankt-Peterburg are nice although I haven't been there personally.

Great question by the way!

Culture: Russia, by far.

Language: They're all pretty similar. IMO Polish is the most complicated one and Slovakian sounds the best.

Most developed: Czech Republic.

Tourism: That really depends on what you like. I'd go with Croatia. Beautiful beaches, nice weather and lots of interesting stuff to see.

Slovenia and Russia for me. Russia wins for culture, Slovenia for everything else. I also love Montenegro for natural beauties.

Slovenia BEST and Russia worst....
