In your defense, America is 50 states with 50 different ways of doing things.
East coast and west coast might as well be in different countries.
There are dummies everywhere. I have lived in 10 US states and now live in Hungary.
Some but not all people here really think this little country is more important on the world scale then it actually is.
Then again, I have met people in Hawaii who never even visited the other side of the Island they lived on.
I have heard dumb things from people from all over the world as a casino games dealer in Las Vegas.
Not much difference where someone comes from, more what they have done with their education and more about them being open to new things.
I talked with a young lady in Belize years ago who lived high up in the rain forest.
Nothing major going on there but she knew allot more then one would imagine from her surroundings.
I told her I was living in New Mexico at the time and she knew everything about the annual balloon fiesta. Not too many people anywhere know much about Belize and the villages in the rain forests.
As a person who has traveled non-stop for 16 plus years, and visited 106 countries. I believe your real question is Europe or American smarter? They are both the same, Americans are roughly 75 European, so the same genetic brain. However, you add in indigenous of Mexico, Central, and South America, plus Africans coming over as Slaves. Generally, overall, the inherent intelligence of Europe is higher. Now, I way the ability of culture to earn money, survive winter, thrive as the scorecard. And, Europe is great at this, and America is an also ran. But the 200 plus under-developed, are that, under-developed in their ability to thrive. But they are really the normal, and USA, Europe, and Japan are over-developed. But, in the end, the quality of life can be much better, less stress, and easier in the middle of Africa. You do not hear of suicides in Africa, while in Sweden there are many. All in all, the quality of life in the USA is best on the planet, if the would stop feeling guilty for not working more. I don't believe one is stupider, its sucks you seem to feel a bit angry right now, but America note Europe is "stupid". USA and Europe are both western societies, so there are many similarities overall. It really just depends on which place you would rather live. America has Americans, (haha) American food, Disney world, Sea world, NYC, hollywood, Jimmy Fallon, Las Vegas, a 21 yrs minimum drinking age, and MUCH more! its also what we call HOME. BUT - Europe has Ancient Castles, Harry Potter was shot there, ;) , London, Paris, lower drinking age, and so on. Pick your part of the world. :) Good luck!!
You have answered your own question. Only an American would think Europe is a country, when in fact it is 50 independent sovereign countries. So it seems you are a good example of a stupid American.
