Well, I don't really know what kind of people did you meet, I have traveled a lot and I can tell you that I met rude people in every single place I have been in and I didn't say that they'all are rude, it depends of the person. You can't judge and insult a huge country by a couple of people you have met.

Hey there. You could say I'm Spanish but never actually felt like it. Anyway, it may be true, I'm from Barcelona and for example people in Madrid are usually arrogant because they're from the city, but places like Catalonia, Galicia, Valencia, Andalusia… they're very nice there! But that always happens, people who live in the capital usually tend to be rude, but you shouldn't judge the country for that! Inform yourself before you speak, it kinda hurts to see that.
I live in spain and what you say is true, people in spain think that being rude is cool.... -_- i'm originally from northern Europe... most people in spain seem to be retarded :P but never mind i hope they change :)

You don't sound as if you have much real experience with them. Have you ever traveled to Spain? I suspect the reason people are treating you poorly is because of how YOU are approaching them...You don't seem to understand how THEY think...there are always cultural differences...

Ok, every single time I meet a Spanish person, they are always mean and rude. I told myself that I would not generalize about Spanish people but I'm convince that they are the worst type of people in Europe. When I talk to people from Spain, they tend to be cold. One time I went to say hello to a Spanish foreign exchange student and he stopped walking and looked at me with a disgusted type of face. Also, when I asked about their country, it seems like they are always angry at me all the time. Don't get me wrong but when I talk to other Europeans, especially the Russians, they are usually impressed by the knowledge I know about their country. Now, I befriended a Spanish person in Facebook and she said "why the hell are you liking my status, stop stalking me". I mean what the hell? I even posted in a lot of my status that i liked somebody else. I think my Bulgarian friend was right, Spanish people's mind is too slow when it comes to growing. I wish my country of philippines does not affiliate with these sort of mongrels. I wish we never had any sort of Spanish blood and I'm glad that the country took out the Spanish language in Philippines. I have had enough of Spanish people and I do not know why they always act this way!
